Unused tickets are rare as the final day was completely sold out -
prices for the best seats on the grandstand were ten times the
original price on the black market. 50 000 spectators watched the races,
and many of them missed the first final because the Munich public transport
system had not expected such masses of people to cope with.
The ticket on the right (°Ehrenkarte° = honorary ticket) was for one of the best seats:
Block A1, row 12, seat 1 - as close to the finish line as possible (for VIP only)
