Oliver Zeidler was the M1X World Champion
in 2019 at WRC Linz-Ottensheim (AUT) and in 2022
at WRC Racice (CZE). As there were no World Rowing
Championships in 2020 and 2021 he is the only single
sculler who achieved to stay at the top of the list for
four years with two victories. At the Olympic Games 2020
he won the M1X B-final (= 7th place).

Book GER 1975 °Leistungssport - Sinn und Unsinn° by Karl Adam
Karl Adam died one year after this book was published. He introduced
intervall training and weightlifing into competitive rowing and taught
his crews to change the leverage of oars and sculls according to the
types of boats and the wind conditions. His traing methods resulted
in a domination of (West)German rowing from 1959-1968.
